Today, I am 6 weeks pregnant! Feeling good, tired and fat as ever! I have been experiencing a small bit of nausea at night time before bed. But, once I lay down I am fine. Brent took one of my first belly pics today and I plan on continuing this weekly. I am very exhausted! I woke up yesterday and only 2 hours later, took a 3 hour nap! I have NO energy.. I haven't deep cleaned my house in a month! Brent has been a trooper and cleaned some, but it's just not that kind of clean I do! (Am I a clean freak, yes!) So, this is bugging me! I just can't make myself do it! I hope this changes soon, or I will have to call in a maid. :) This week is the last of my finals, so I am trying to stay focused. I am dreading Wednesday's final over World Religions so I will spend the next two days behind my book. I am ready for this week to be over with already! Then, it is time for a little vacation with The Flynns, O'Neals, Mills, and Leatherwoods (like that, Kasey?!) I am looking forward to the next few weeks. I am also ready for Zane and Max to be done with school and I know they are too! This will be a fun-filled, busy month of May!
What's going on with Baby Philmon this 6th week (from babycenter.com).. LOVE these weekly updates:
This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you'll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you'd find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil bean.
Aw...now we'll have to call it little lentil. boo! that's not as cute as poppy :) Your belly looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteLOL I know! It was poopy, sesame, and now lentil! :) I think we can still say "poppy" though ;)
