Week 34

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything was great. I had my Strep B test done and thankfully I don't have it. I am also officially into my weekly appointments! I can't believe Brody will be here in less than 50 days! The appointment went smooth and quick. I am starting to have some pain in my feet, especially on Wednesdays and Thursdays when I am on them for so long. I try to elevate them when I can, but at night when I lay down they throb! Luckily, I have a wonderful hubby who rubs them daily. ;) We also have gotten A LOT done in the nursery this week.. thanks Amy and Maggie for your help! I have washed everything also: all of his clothes, bedding, swing stuff, etc. We are almost finished in his nursery.. I just need to get some closet racks and do some decorating (hang his letters, etc). We are getting there!

Update from BabyCenter.com:
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate him body temperature once he's born — are filling her out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
